Russia’s stainless steel imports up 22 percent in Feb over Jan

According to the data issued by the Russian Special Steel and Alloys Consumers and Suppliers Association (Spetsstal), in February this year Russia's imports of the main stainless steel products increased by 22 percent as compared to January, rising to 15,160 mt.
 
Of total Russian stainless steel product imports in February of the current year, flat steel products accounted for 63.4 percent, long steel products accounted for 17.1 percent, 8.7 percent consisted of seamless pipes, 6.9 percent was made up of welded pipes, 3.5 percent was accounted for by wire, while billets and slabs accounted for 0.5 percent.
