Russia’s MERT in favor of quota on pipes

Russian Customs announced yesterday that the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MERT) would demand that Moscow impose a quota on imports of large diameter pipes into Russia. An official from MERT indicated that the measure emerged following the preliminary results of an antidumping investigation into imports of large diameter pipes.
