During the annual international conference which took place in Moscow on December 5, 2007 dedicated to coated steel production, the current situation and perspectives for coated steel market development, director of ZNIIIchermet I.P. Bardin institute research center, Mr. V. Paramonov stated that by 2015 galvanized steel production in Russia will have risen to seven million metric tons per year.
V. Paramonov continued by adding that pre-painted steel production in the country will have reached three million metric tons per year by 2015.
