Russian semi-finished steel exports down 9.5 percent in Jan-Feb

In the January-February period of the current year, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 9.5 percent year on year to 2.03 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In February alone, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 21.3 percent compared to January, to 0.9 million mt.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, in January this year Russian exports of semi-finished steel products had declined by 20 percent compared to December.
