Rio Tinto's price hike accepted by POSCO

Rio Tinto has announced today new iron ore price agreement with South Korean steelmaker POSCO. Under this agreement, the price of lump ore will increase 19 percent. Sam Walsh, Chief Executive of Rio Tinto's Iron Ore Group, said “This settlement confirms the tightness of the iron ore market and the very strong demand for Australian iron ore”.
