Rebar costs in Buenos Aires rise in April

Rebar costs in the greater Buenos Aires area in April rose 4.5 percent, month-on-month, according to data released this week by the nation’s statistics agency (Indec).

According to government data, rebar was among the products whose cost in April rose the most in the general expenses category on a month-on-month analysis.

Overall, civil construction costs in the Buenos Aires area in April increased 4.9 percent, month-on-month. Costs of materials, workforce and general expenses in April increased 1.7, 7.3 and 3.3 percent, respectively, month-on-month.
