PT Gunung Raja Paksi starts operations at new reversing cold mill

Germany-based plantmaker SMS Group has announced that Indonesian steel producer PT Gunung Raja Paksi has started operations at its new reversing cold mill, supplied by SMS, located in the city of Bekasi.

The new reversing cold mill with an annual production capacity of 200,000 mt produces high-quality cold strips with a maximum width of 1,270 millimeters. According to SMS, the automation system of the mill assures the fully automatic and efficient operation of the plant.
