Preliminary results on Turkish rebar AD review

Preliminary results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review on Turkish Rebar: The U.S. Department of Commerce, (DOC) announced their determinations on the administrative review of the antidumping duty order on rebars from three Turkish mills: Çolakoğlu, Ekinciler and Habaş during the fourth period of review, covering April 1, 2000, through March 31, 2001. The D.O.C. determined to rescind the review with respect to Diler group mills (Diler and Yazici), and ICDAS as these companies had no shipments of rebar during the aforementioned period. The preliminary determination on the three mills subject to review have been announced as follows.
Çolakoglu........... 6.74%
Ekinciler........... 0.00%
HABAS............... 0.27% (below de Minimis)
Final determinations are expected to be announced by September, but could be earlier or later than that. Until then, prevailing AD duties on rebars produced by Çolakoglu, Ekinciler and HABAŞ will be applicable.
