Preliminary results of AD review on SS bar imported from France

On March 7, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) imposed an antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from France. Upon the requests of both the petitioners and Ugitech, the DOC, on April 22, 2005, initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bars imported from French Ugitech S.A. The review covered the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005. The DOC preliminarily determined that Ugitech made sales below normal value during the period of review. Accordingly, the weighted-average dumping margin for the period March 1, 2004, through February 28, 2005 is as follows:

Producer/exporter Margin

Ugitech S.A.......................9.70 percent
Interested parties are requested to comment on the preliminary results.
