Preliminary results of AD review on SS bar from India
On March 26, 2004, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an administrative review of the antidumping duty order on stainless steel bar imported from Indian producers Chandan Steel Ltd, Ferro Alloys Corp Ltd, Isibars Ltd, Mukand Ltd, Venus Wire Industries Limited and Viraj Alloys Ltd, Viraj Forgings, Ltd upon the request of these producers. The review covered the period February 1, 2003, through January 31, 2004. The DOC preliminary results found that Chandan Steel Ltd. made sales below normal value. On the other hand, the DOC decided to rescind the review with respect to Ferro Alloys Corp Ltd, Isibars Ltd, Mukand Ltd, Venus Wire Industries Limited and Viraj Alloys Ltd, Viraj Forgings, Ltd. The DOC then invited interested parties to comment on these preliminary results.
