Preliminary results of AD review on rebar imported from Latvia

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) published preliminary results of an antidumping administrative review on steel concrete reinforcing bars imported from Latvia. The review covers one Latvian producer/exporter, JSC Liepajas Metalurgs, during the period September 1, 2003, through August 31, 2004. The DOC preliminarily determined that the following duty margin exists for the aforementioned period:

Producer/exporter Margin

Joint Stock Company
Liepajas Metalurgs.......................8.84%
The current dumping duty deposit rate, which is 3.01 percent, will remain in effect until the final results are published.
