Latvia-based bankrupt steelmaker KVV Liepajas metalurgs will be auctioned in parts since it failed to find a buyer, according to local media.

None of the bidders complied with the conditions put forward by the creditors and they did not have the capacity to buy the steelmaker as a whole.

Liepajas metalurgs resumed operations in February 2015 after being acquired by Ukraine-based KVV Group and the steelmaker was declared bankrupt in September 2016.
