Preliminary results of AD review on certain beams from Korea

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) on September 30, 2003 initiated administrative review for the anti-dumping duty order on structural steel beams imported from Korea. The period of review was August 1, 2002- July 30, 2003. DOC preliminarily determined that sales of subject merchandise imported from Korean producers, namely INI Steel and Dongkuk Steel Mills (DSM) have been made at prices below the normal value. Accordingly, DOC determined that following weighted-average dumping margins exist for the subject producers:

Producer/exporter Margin

INI Steel Company........................16.62%
Dongkuk Steel Mills.......................4.39%
Interested parties are requested to submit their comments on these preliminary results.
