POSCO to create synergy between its two subsidiaries

Employees of POSCO-VST, a Vietnam-based cold-rolled stainless steel plant visited Zhangjiagang POSCO Stainless Steel (ZPSS) in China, for one week from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2.
The field trip aiming to create a synergy between two company, consist of visitors from VST checking the advanced facilities in ZPSS including the No. 2 cold-rolled plant opened on June 13.

VST is working on building a new cold-rolled plant, which is scheduled to open next February. The Vietnamese joint venture organized the field trip in recognition of the structural similarity between two company`s extension press and annealing furnace. The event covered a wide range of work fields including ZRM, rolling processes under differing conditions, AGC adjustment, proper use of belt wrappers, quality of rolling oil and maintenance of the rolling machine
