On May 12, South Korean steelmaker POSCO said that, following the completion of the construction of its auto steel sheet manufacturing plant in the Binhai Economic Technology Development District of Tianjin in China in late April, it has now also celebrated the completion of another auto steel sheet manufacturing plant in Yantai in China's Shandong Province.
POSCO said that the construction of the plants allows it to complete its steel manufacturing cluster, which spans Tianjin-Yantai-Shenyang-Dalian.
POSCO will be able to deliver top tier manufacturing/logistics services to customers in northern China and Shandong in addition to eastern China, where it operates eight manufacturing centers.
