Peruvian rebar sales increase 9.5 percent in May

Peruvian rebar sales in May rose 9.5 percent, year-on-year, to 116,646 mt, according to local statistics agency, INEI. Peruvian rebar sales in May decreased 3 percent, month-on-month, from 120,310 mt in April.

As for the accumulated five-month period from January to May, Peruvian rebar sales reached 565,124 mt, 4.4 percent up, year-on-year, INEI said.
