Peruvian iron ore output declines 13 percent in November

Iron ore production at Peruvian’s only producer, Shougang Hierro Peru, declined 13 percent in November, year-on-year, according to data from the nation’s mines and energy ministry.

Shougang produced 418,793 mt of the commodity in November, down from 481,532 mt in the same period of 2014.

In the accumulated period of January to November, Peruvian iron ore output totaled 6.8 million mt, 0.15 percent down, year-on-year.
