Pangang’s coal chemical plant produces 858,700 mt of coke in Q1

Sichuan-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that in the first quarter of the current year its coal chemical plant produced 858,700 mt of coke and earned sales revenues of RMB 204 million ($32.40 million), RMB 67 million more than in the same quarter last year.

Meanwhile, Pangang Metallurgy Materials Co. produced 9,161 mt of refractory materials in the first three months of this year, up 1.12 percent year on year.
