Pangang Mining posts strong rise in iron ore concentrate output

Sichuan Province-based Chinese miner Panzhihua Iron and Steel Mining Company (Pangang Mining Co.), a subsidiary of Pangang Group, has announced that as of December 15 this year it produced 10.0283 million mt of iron ore concentrate, up 16.3 percent compared to a total output of 8.6225 million mt for the whole of last year.
 
Pangang Mining stated that it has become the second-largest iron ore concentrate producer in China after Ansteel Mining Industry Co., the mining subsidiary of major domestic steelmaker Ansteel.
