Hebei Steel Mining produces 3.735 million mt of iron ore concentrate in H1

On July 10, major Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group stated that its subsidiary Hebei Steel Mining Co. produced 3.735 million mt of iron ore concentrate in the first half this year, exceeding the target volume.In 2012, Hebei Steel Mining Co.'s output of iron ore concentrate had amounted to 7.22 million mt. The company announced at the beginning of the current year that it would be targeting an iron ore concentrate output of 7.3 million mt for the year.
