Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that its subsidiary Xichang Steel and Vanadium Co. has commissioned its new 2,050 mm continuous casting hot rolling plant.
The plant will produce high value-added products such as high-strength structural plate and shipbuilding plate. Accordingly, Xichang Steel and Vanadium Co.'s overall annual output capacity of hot rolled flat steel has reached 3.733 million mt.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, Pangang Group's Xichang Steel and Vanadium Co. recently commissioned its blast furnace No. 1.
