OMK’s Trubodetal increases its production in April

OJSC Trubodetal (part of Russia-based OMK Group) has announced its production results for April and for the first four months of the current year. Accordingly, in January-April, Trubodetal's output exceeded 7,818 mt, 3,042 mt more than in January-April 2010. In April alone, Trubodetal produced 2,333 mt of steel products, up 68 percent year on year. Trubodetal's products include connections for line pipes, pipe bends, harnesses, etc.

Today, Trubodetal is one of the largest mills in Russia and the CIS that produces connections for line pipes from low-alloyed steel in diameters from 57 mm to 1,420 mm. Trubodetal is a key supplier for constructions of oil and gas supply pipelines and main pipeline networks in Russia. Its production facilities are capable of manufacturing 30,000 mt of connections annually, with more than 500 sizes, including both seamless and punched and welded connections (induction bends). All the mill's products are certified to ISO and GOST R standards and meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
