OECD has decided to accelerate steel subsidy negotiations

In a meeting held in Paris last week, OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) delegates from thirty-seven steel-producing countries have decided to submit the text, which will reveal the final determinations about the limitations on steel subsidy, by latest April. Before reaching to a final decision in a high-level meeting with government ministers, certain technical meetings for the preparation of the text will be held apart from the interim negotiations, which are scheduled to take place on dates 3-5 December, 9-11 February and 5-8 April.
