Russian mining and metals company Mechel has announced that work has resumed at several facilities at the Lenin Underground and New-Olzherassk mines of its subsidiary Southern Kuzbass Coal Company in the southwestern part of Siberia, after a temporary suspension announced earlier this week.

The suspension of operations by order of Mezhdurechensk city court has been lifted by order of the same court, which stated that all grounds for the suspension have been eliminated.
As of December 9, production at the Lenin Underground and New-Olzherassk mines has resumed as normal.
