NMZK to modernize flats production

Novosibirsk Metallurgical Works named after Kuzmin (NMZK), a subsidiary of the Russian steel producer ESTAR Holding (ESTAR), has announced its intention to modernize its flats production.

The modernization program involves the replacement of the old flat rolling mill with a new one at a total investment cost of €80 million.

Upon the commencement of production at the new flats mill, NMZK will be able to expand the range of its flat products to include coils of 1.5 m in width.
