In the current year, Russian steelmaker
NLMK plans to increase
investments in its Ural subsidiaries by 2.5 times compared to the previous year to RUB 3.5 billion ($119.5 million), as stated by director of
NLMK-Ural, Valeriy Shevelev. The
investments in question will be directed towards the development of new steel production technology and the implementation of environmental projects.
