Nisshin Steel to hike galvanized steel prices

Japanese steelmaker Nisshin Steel announced that it would increase the sales price of galvanizing steel for construction effective for July shipments. The company will increase the price by Yen 10,000/ton ($86/ton) for thicker products used for general construction and by Yen 20,000/ton ($173/ton) for thinner products used for roof and wall. Nisshin Steel is also planning to hike the sales price of nickel series stainless flat steel.
