New iron ore pelletizing project starts first phase production in Kunming, China

 The first phase of Yunnan Province-based Chinese iron ore pellet producer Qianhua Pellet Industrial and Trading Co.'s new shaft furnace pelletizing line was put into production on June 26 at Luquan industrial park in the city of Kunming, Yunnan, China.

The total investment in the project exceeds RMB 160 million ($24.62 million), while the expected annual output is one million mt of iron ore pellets.
