New HDG line at Severstal Dearborn to be in operation by December 1

Dearborn, Michigan-based steelmaker Severstal North America announced Thursday that the new hot-dip galvanizing line (HDGL) team fully threaded its first coil at Severstal Dearborn, Michigan on Tuesday, October 4.

The HDG line will be officially up and running to receive orders on December 1, according to a press release from the company. Bruce Black, Vice President and General Manager of Severstal Dearborn said "This signifies the beginning of the brand new, high-value added product line for our company."
