New bonds issued by local governments in China total RMB 1.9846 trillion in Jan-May 2025

New bonds issued by local governments in China in the January-May period this year amounted to RMB 1.9846 trillion ($0.28 trillion).

In May alone, new bonds issued by local governments in China totaled RMB 491.9 billion ($68.7 billion).
