NEA: China to eliminate 50 million mt of coal output capacity in 2017

China’s National Energy Administration (NEA) has announced at a press conference that it has determined the national coal capacity reduction target for the current year. Accordingly, China plans to eliminate 50 million mt of coal production capacity in 2017.
