Nanjing Steel posts 3.23 percent rise in net profit for Jan-Mar 2026

Jiangsu Province-based Chinese steelmaker Nanjing Iron and Steel Co., Ltd (Nanjing Steel) has issued its financial report for the January-March period this year, stating that it registered an operating revenue of RMB 14.414 billion ($2.1 billion) in the given period, up 0.42 percent year on year, while posting a net profit of RMB 597 million ($87 million) in the first three months, up 3.23 percent year on year. 

In the given period, Nanjing Steel produced 2.2701 million mt of finished steel, up 6.83 percent year on year, while sold 2.2681 million mt of finished steel, up 7.0 percent year on year.
