Murchison’s iron ore output down slightly in Q4 from Q3

Australian iron ore exploration company Murchison Metals Ltd (Murchison) announced on January 27 that its iron ore output volume in the fourth quarter of 2011 amounted to 371,423 mt, with a slight decrease from 395,279 mt of ore mined in the previous quarter.
 
Murchisson said that in 2011 a total of 7.28 million mt of direct shipping ore (DSO) products was exported from the port at Geraldton.
