Moldovan Ribnitza recommences production

Ribnitza, the Moldovan mill, barely restarted its production in July for wire rods after having to shut down the line early in the year due to lack of gas. The lack of Moldovan material has contributed to the shortage of wire rods in the Mediterranean area pushing prices as high as $280/Mt.
