MOC: Average steel prices in China edge up slightly during July 3-9

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during the July 3-9 period this year the overall average finished steel price in China edged up slightly.

In the given period, the average prices of rebar, steel channel and high-speed wire rod increased by 0.3 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, week on week, respectively. 

In the same period, the average prices of thermal coal and coking coal increased by 1.1 percent and 0.6 percent, though prices of smoke-free lump coal moved down by 0.1 percent, week on week, respectively.
