MOC: Average steel price in China down 0.2 percent

China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that during last week (November 19-25) the average steel price in China decreased by 0.2 percent compared to the previous week.
In particular, in the given week prices of 145 mm × 2.5 mm hot rolled steel strip, 6.5 mm diameter high-speed wire rod and 10 mm steel plate decreased by 0.4 percent, 0.3 percent and 0.3 percent respectively, all week on week.

In the week ending November 25, average prices of minerals in China witnessed a decline of 0.8 percent week on week. Furthermore, the average prices of iron ore, tungsten ore and lead ore in China decreased by one percent, 0.8 percent and 0.4 percent respectively in the week in question, all compared to the previous week.
