MOC: Average finished steel price in China up 0.1 percent

On November 14, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that during last week (November 3-9) the overall average finished steel price in China rose by 0.1 percent week on week.

In the given week, average prices of high-speed wire rod and seamless pipe in China increased by 0.2 percent and 0.4 percent week on week.

In the same week, the average price of non-ferrous metals in China decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous week. The average price of nickel (Ni >= 99.2%) declined by 1.8 percent week on week.

In addition, in the week in question, the average price of coal in China remained stable week on week. In particular, the average prices of coking coal decreased by 0.2 percent, while thermal coal and anthracite coal prices remained unchanged, all week on week.
