Moldovan Steel Works (MMZ) announced that it was able to restore the volumes of scrap supplies to the enterprise necessary to work at full capacity. Mr. Andrey Udin, the General Director of MMZ, stated that from June 9 to June 16, the plant, for the first time in the two months of economic blockade imposed by Ukraine, received the necessary daily norm of scrap. He also pointed out that since Ukraine removed scrap from the free-trade regime with Moldova, the main scrap supplies to the enterprise comes from Russia.
