MMZ issues January-April 2008 production data

Moldavian Metallurgical Plant (MMZ) has released its production results for the first four months of 2008.
Accordingly, during the given period the mill produced 325,348 mt of crude steel and 301,325 mt of rolled steel products. The mill's sales during the period in question amounted to 301,721 mt of finished steel products and 15,156 mt of billet.
In addition, in April MMZ produced 81,077 mt of crude steel, exceeding its production target for the month in question by 1.3 percent.
