MMK to increase domestic supplies in 2007

Mr. Victor Rashnikov, chairman of the Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), has stated that in 2007 the share of supplies of MMK's steel to the domestic market is forecasted to reach 60 percent, or about 7.3 million metric tons.

In comparison with domestic deliveries in 2006, in the current year MMK plans to increase them by 21 percent or by 1.25 million metric tons of steel.
