MMK Metalurji appoints Mehmet Cakmur as new sales director

MMK Metalurji, the new flat steel production facility established in Dortyol in Turkey's southern province of Hatay with an investment of approximately $2 billion, has appointed Mehmet Cakmur as its new sales director.
 
Replacing Andrey Parkhomchuk, Mr. Cakmur underlined that he would be working together with a strong team to achieve new targets.
 
Mr. Cakmur graduated in industrial engineering from Middle East Technical University in 1990. He has 21 years of experience in the iron and steel industry, including positions such as Turkey and Middle East sales executive at MMK's Russia plant during 2002-2011 and export manager for the last six months at MMK Metalurji.
