MMK completes the repair of continuous annealing unit

Russian steel mill Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced the completion of a five day scheduled overhaul of the continuous annealing unit at its flat rolling shop No.3.

The main maintenance work included the upgrading of the unit's cleaning brush device, and the repairing of the tower furnace's equipment.

The overhaul has been finished within the scheduled period and the annealing unit has successfully commenced operations.
