The Russian steel producer MMK has announced the completion of seven-day repair works at its longs mill-370.

During the scheduled maintenance works at mill-370, inspections and replacement of the hearth lining and the arch of the reheat furnace at the mill were completed.

The mill-370 was designed by Italian company Danieli and put into operation at MMK in July 2005. The mill has an annual production capacity of 585,000 metric tons and is able to produce 12-36 mm rebar (which account for the largest part of the mill's production) and round and square bars.
