Mexico’s ICH sees profit surge in Q3

Mexican steelmaker Industrias CH (ICH) said net profit in Q3 this year surged 84 percent, year-on-year, to MXN 1.7 billion ($83.7 million).

According to the company, net revenues in Q3 grew 42 percent, year-on-year, to MXN 11.3 billion ($556.6 million). Steel sales volumes in Q3 reached 628,000 mt, slightly down from 631,000 mt in the same quarter of the year prior.

ICH posted an EBITDA of MXN 1.6 billion ($78.8 million), 37 percent up, year-on-year.
