Mexico’s Grupo Collado sees net profit increase in Q3

Mexican steel service center Grupo Collado saw its net profit in Q3 rise to MXN 37.8 million ($1.87 million) from MXN 4.4 million ($220,000) in the same quarter of the year prior, the company said, while releasing its quarterly results.

According to Grupo Collado, net revenues in Q3 reached MXN 2.4 billion ($120 million), 27.7 percent up, year-on-year.

The company’s gross profit in Q3 was MXN 441.6 million ($21.8 million), 30.4 percent up, year-on-year, from MXN 338.7 million ($16.7 million) in Q3 2017. Gross margin in Q3 was 17.7 percent, stable from 17.4 percent in Q3 2017.
