Metinvest stops heating furnace No. 3 at Ilyich for overhaul

Ukraine's largest steel and mining group Metinvest has stopped the heating furnace No. 3 in sheet mill 1700 at its subsidiary Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol for capital repairs. It is scheduled to complete the capital repairs on September 1. More than UAH 9 million ($1.125 million) is to be invested in the upgrading of equipment.
