Meishan Mining produces 240,200 mt of iron ore concentrate in Jan

On February 1, Nanjing-based Meishan Mining Company, a subsidiary of Chinese steel giant Baosteel, announced that in January this year its output of iron ore concentrate totaled 240,200 mt, up by 72,800 mt year on year. Apart from its supplies to Baosteel, Meishan Mining’s sales of iron ore concentrate to other steelmakers amounted to 121,000 mt, increasing by 30,000 mt on year-on-year basis, exceeding its sales target.
