Mechel’s Urals Stampings Plant improves financial results in Q1

Russia-based Urals Stampings Plant, a subsidiary of one of the leading Russian mining and steel companies Mechel, has reported that its net profit was Ruble 317.968 billion ($11.3 million) in the first quarter of this year, 3.82 times more than in the same period of last year.

Also in Q1 2011, Urals Stampings Plant 's sales revenues increased by 76.24 percent year on year reaching Ruble 3.188 billion ($113.4 million).
