Mechel rises domestic rebar price for April deliveries

Mechel raised domestic rebar price Ruble 250-290 per ton (about $9.7) for the Central and South region for April deliveries. For Siberian region rebar price raised about Ruble 610 per ton ($22). At the same time, the price for Ural region was reduced Ruble 460-470 per ton ($16.8), to bring the equalization of the prices on domestic market. During April the following system of regional reduction and surcharges will be adapted by Mechel: reduction for Central and North West regions to be Ruble 100 per ton ($3.6) and Ruble 300 per ton ($10.8) respectively, surcharge to delivery to South region to be Ruble 100 per ton ($3.6), to Ural (except Tyumen Region) to be Ruble 500 per ton ($18), to Siberian and Tyumen regions to be Ruble 400 per ton ($14.4).
