Maanshan starts the construction of coating line

Chinese major steelmaker Maanshan Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. started to construct a new coating line in the eastern Anhui. The coating line's annual capacity will be 300'000 tons. The company is planning to complete the construction in seventeen months with a cost of Yuan 285 million (approx. $34.4 million). The line will supply coated sheets with a thickness of between 0.3-0.5 mm, a width of 600-1'575 mm to construction and domestic appliance sectors.
